Joy shows its own menus, buttons and navigation in a guest's language through a language picker. For your own words, its help center describes a manual system: tag each guest with a language, duplicate each page with Duplicate and Translate, restrict it to the right tag, and write each RSVP question again per language. The text is translated once and won't update if the original page changes, the Registry, RSVP and Schedule pages cannot be duplicated, and page titles are not translated automatically.

It works, and it makes you the translation layer: every page exists twice, every schedule change is made twice, and every late guest needs the right tag before the site makes sense to them. On The Private Wedding App you change a line once and every language follows on the same link.

The Knot's help center says you can change most titles and text to your native language, except for special characters and using a standard English keyboard, and that some text, such as the RSVP page, cannot be changed. So the moment a guest reaches the form that matters, it is back in the platform's wording.

There is no guest language choice and no automatic translation, which leaves a free site for a mostly single-language wedding with some translated passages. The Private Wedding App translates the RSVP with everything else, in the language each guest picks.

Zola's FAQ states that it does not offer automatic translation, that built-in fields like the clickable buttons remain in English, and that it is not currently able to support special characters on its wedding websites. Its suggestion is to add each section twice, once per language. For a couple whose second language uses accents or another script, that ends the bilingual question before it starts.

Riley & Grey translates its pre-populated text, buttons, headers and the RSVP page into one of 13 languages, from Afrikaans to Vietnamese. Its help center also says it does not offer an option to let guests choose the language they view, and offers a 50% discount on a second website for the other language.

Two websites means two RSVP lists and two sets of edits, at $39 a month or $299 a year. On The Private Wedding App both languages live on one link, with one guest list behind them.

WedSites lets you assign each guest a preferred language and shows a language switcher on the site, on its Pro plan only: $199 with 24 months of hosting, then paid hosting. Its help center says website sections are translated automatically while the RSVP form wording and e-card text need to be translated manually, so the form guests fill in is still yours to write in every language.

Pro also adds a budget, a seating chart and a checklist. Right-to-left support is not stated on its pages. The Private Wedding App translates the RSVP and meal choices with the rest, Arabic and Hebrew right to left included, with no hosting clock.

Appy Couple lets you type content in any language and any characters, and its help center says there is no button to switch languages and that its buttons and instructions, including the RSVP prompt, remain in English. It is a subscription at €100 a year or €12 a month.

Weddybird, a German platform, lists a multilingual website on its Premium plan at €69 for 12 months (€89 with a domain), with no automatic renewal. Its feature page says the site can be set up in over 40 languages and that you adapt the content for each language yourselves; how a guest chooses a language and whether the RSVP form translates are not explained. The RSVP can ask menus and allergies, and no seating plan or budget tool is described.
