Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using The Private Wedding App. By using the Service, you agree to these terms in full.
By accessing or using The Private Wedding App ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including couples who create wedding invitations, guests who RSVP, and visitors who browse the website.
The Private Wedding App provides digital wedding invitation creation, online RSVP management, guest list management, seating plans, budget tracking, moodboard creation, and print-ready QR code card generation. The Service is offered on a one-time payment basis with no recurring subscription fees.
To use certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • All activity that occurs under your account. • Providing accurate and up-to-date information. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
The Service offers two one-time payment plans: Invitation and Full Wedding Planner. Prices are displayed in your local currency and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Once your purchase is confirmed, you receive immediate access to all features included in your plan. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable.
You may upgrade from the Invitation plan to the Full Wedding Planner plan at any time. You will only pay the difference between the two plans at the time of upgrade.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including photos, videos, text, guest lists, and other wedding-related data ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will never use your content for marketing without your explicit permission. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, including photos and music references. You must not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.
You agree not to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose. • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems. • Use automated bots to scrape, spam, or interfere with the Service. • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent. • Create invitations containing hate speech, explicit content, or misleading information.
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from temporary unavailability of the Service.
Your account remains active for 18 months from the date of purchase. Your wedding invitation stays live and accessible to guests for 6 months after your wedding date. You may export your guest list and data at any time during your access period. After the access period ends, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Service, including its design, themes, code, animations, and branding, is the intellectual property of The Private Wedding App. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. The themes, templates, and design elements provided are licensed for your personal use within the Service only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Private Wedding App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your plan.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
